They can not only be useful during these difficult times with so many families staying at home, but they can be a tool that you can use with your therapist as you do work outside your session. We recommend you visit our new resource page that has an extensive list of apps based on diagnosis or issue. Click Here to visit the new resource page for clients. |

Nutrition and Mental Health

We have recently been working with Dr. Michelle Trias as a referral to clients who would like to improve their diet and nutrition. This can have a huge impact on a person's mental health. There is more and more research coming out that points to a brain/gut connection as it relates to the impact diet has on mental health. We believe that it is important to look at the whole person and diet is often overlooked when coming to a therapist. The impact that diet alone has on depression for example, can't be overlooked. Talk to your therapist about a referral if you are interested.
